I am 48 years old and a long time Trek fan. In real life, I am a practicing veterinarian and do stage acting in our local community theater throughout the year. I am interested in the episode shoot.
Veterinarian in real life and do community theater on the side.
I am interested.
I am a long term fan of the original show and it has been an inspiration throughout my life. i am early 50′s, a degreed nuclear engineer. i have constructed and operate a remote monitoring and diagnostic facility modeled after Trek that services a fleet of nuclear and fossil fueled plants from our corporate headquarters based in Dallas.
It would be fun to participate in developing an episode. I am very impressed with the quality and attention to detail that is invested in each of the episodes you produce.
Thanks for your consideration and keep up the good work!
Thank you James, I am a huge huge Star Trek fan ever since it air for the first time on Thursday, September 8 1966, I’ve seen all of the movies, read a few novels, been too a few conventions. but watching the continuing journey of the original five year mission of USS Enterprise is truly fantastic. looking forward to watching and waiting for all upcoming episodes. Live long and prosper.
Hello!
Cordialement,
Nicolas.
Dear Star Trek Phase 2,
My name is Rich Gedney. I previously worked on STP2 in the summer of 2008 during the filming of the episode “Enemy Star Fleet”. During that time I worked Transporting equipment to and from the Ticonderoga location shoot as well as working various jobs in and around the set.
In the last year I filmed my own documentary “Every Other Sunday”. I produced, directed, shot and edited this documentary. You can view my current edit @ http://www.everyothersunday.org .This month I will be working on two projects. One filming interviews for Movie Geeks United http://www.moviegeeksunited.net at the Atlanta Film Festival http://www.atlantafilmfestival.com/. The other is a behind the scenes documentary showing the running of the festival.
Since working on Phase 2 I have continued volunteering on various film projects here in the Atlanta area. My goal is to continue working and learning the art of film making through hands on everyday set experience. I would very much like to work on your next project this summer. I truly value the opportunity to learn and grow as a film maker. If you have any opportunities available in the Cinematography department or related departments please keep me in mind.
Sincerely, Rich Gedney
James,
I’d like to volunteer to be a villan/extra on the June 9-19 shoot at Ticonderoga NY. I have acting experience, and Im presently doing some voice work for Star Trek – Project Potempkin. But I can help out in other ways too…
I’ve worked building sets and know my way around power tools. I have my own set of landing party acoutraments (TOS communicator, Tricorder, and Phaser – Type II, with the detachable type I), But there’s more…
I’m also a NYS Paramedic so I can serve as a set medic. And I know my way around a computer too. Thats what my degrees are in, Computer Science.
Please let me know if I can help and how.
Sincerely,
John Brandes
Do we have to provide our own transportation to NY? I am a HUGE trek fan, I grew up on it as a kid. But alas I live in Washington. I love all the work you guys put into this show though, keep up the good work!
Sadly, Star Trek Phase II is not well funded enough o be able to pay for transportation for everyone who wants to participate. But you can participate vicariously–through sending donations, participating on our Forum pages or Facebook pages, our by the most important participation we could ask: watching our producions and telling everyone you know.
Thanks for your enthusiasm for our project!
I totally wish I could help you guys. I love star trek and if I had any acting dream, it would be to have even the smallest role in any star trek production. Sadly I live in Washington State and I am way to far away to caste in NY. Keep up the good work though.
wish i could… but i don’t even live in the came country anymore… let alone state!
Inquired about joining a shoot about a year or so ago. Contributed as well. Grew up with the original Trek, love your homage!
Live in NYC, willing to work long hours! Currently a Federal Officer and can get the time off work! This would be a definite high point!
Hello, I have enjoyed your webisodes and I believe have captured the fun that probably went into TOS. I was the propmaster and designer on Babylon 5 for 5 seasons and got a lot of inspiration for the show from ST. I’m also a matte painter for many films and TV series. If you need an help with matte paintings, hit me up. I love what they did with remastered original series. Also if you get a chance to come to LA to film, Vasquez rocks is not too far away where they shot a lot of the show there for the outdoor planet scenes, like the fight with the Gorn.
Cheers and keep up the good work!
I was slated to help out on the fall shoot this past November, but, the weather and some bad timed events in my life put a stop to that.
Hoping to make up for it by working the June shoot.
By the way…has anyone got their swag they were promised for donating to the fall shoot. Not trying to be a jerk, just wondering as I haven’t received mine.(Don’t even remember what I’m supposed to get)
Looking foward to June!!!Can’t hardly wait!
Hello Jim!
You might recall one of your technicians… Howard J. Brown… who presented some paper model kits of the STAR TREK ships to you a while back ( at least, he had told me that he was going to make sure you got them)! Well, I am the one who gave him the CD Rom disc! I met Howard afew years ago, and he had told me about the recreation of the classic Star Trek TV series with new actors in the legendary roles played by William Shatner, Leonard Nimoy and DeForest Kelley. I was thrilled to hear about this incredible undertaking, and when I first watched the premiere episodes that Howard graciously recorded for me on both CD and DVD formats, I was stunned by the outstanding work that your entire cast and crew labored with to bring these NEW episodes to life! I have been a fan ever since; the stories are incredibly entertaining and the special effects rival anything in the movies today!
Yes! I would love to get in on the ‘inside’ action of Star Trek: Phase II! I am in my early 60′s…not exactly a young ‘trekkie’, of course ( having grew up with the original series), but, as Howard can tell you, I have experience with being an artist…if you are looking for any! Please drop me an email and let me know!
Hi there –i am a long time Star Trek fan, since i was a child and so would love to be involved. Is there housing up there by the way?
