After being pitted against Kirk in a Klingon version of the “no-win scenario,” Kargh would hunger for the day when he and Kirk would meet for real. His hunger is soon satisfied! Starring John Carrigan, Anne Carrigan and James Cawley, the vignette features appearances by Larry Nemecek, Jeff Quinn, Julienne Irons, Andy Bray, and Paul R. Sieber. Written by Erik Korngold, directed by Erik J. Goodrich, and with updated VFX by Pony R. Horton and Tobias Richter of The Light Works.

About the Author

Star Trek New Voyages: Phase II is an award-winning independent webseries that produces new episodes of Classic Star Trek. Continuing the fourth and fifth seasons of the original series, we film the untold stories of the U.S.S. Enterprise, Captain Kirk, and his crew with the intention of filling in the missing years of the original five year mission, and bridging the gap to Star Trek: The Motion Picture. We are a group of fans who have come together with a common love for the classic era Star Trek for the purpose of having fun while making new episodes. It is the goal of Star Trek New Voyages: Phase II to support and promote the CBS/Paramount Star Trek franchise by giving fans an active way to continue their interest in Classic Star Trek.

i love star trek
BIG fan of these Phase II/New Voyages/Viginettes. Will these ever be made available on DVD?
Hi Rich, no, they won’t be available on DVD, but you can download them and burn your own private copy. And, since we cannot make & sell DVDs, what else you can do to help is scroll to the bottom of the page for our donation links. Click any one of them (or two, or all three) and send what you can to help out. One dollar… one hundred… either way, every little bit helps!
I’m speechless. This series is amazing! It captures the magic and spirit of the original show in a way I thought wasn’t possible. I only watched 1 episode and a few fragements of others, but I REALLY loved it, but now I’m not going to watch the rest…yet.
My dad and I watch Star Trek religiously together, when I was a child. We are very different people, but in Star Trek we shared a common passion, that I recall as being the first thing we bonded with and kept being a reoccuring nexus to our relationship. We went to a number of the conventions; saw the various spin offs and analyzed and talked about them, what worked what didn’t and how they compared to the origional.
Now my Dad’s is in the late stage of Colon cancer, with not a lot of time left. I really believe watching this together would be a great way to honor that first passion we shared together. Creating a special memory and meaning for me certainly, and hopefully us both! Thank you and your team so much for your hard work! What you created, what is represents really means so much to me, and I hope ultimately to BOTH my Dad and I! Again, thank you, you are such talented folks that clearly understand the essence of what made that series unique and somehow managed to recreate so much of the magic of the series. Thank you for creating it, and thank you for sharing it with all of us.

I LOVE IT!
The opening scene is HYSTERICAL. When the woman bends over to stoke the fire she sticks her butt into the camera and then immediately a man says “Your flank is exposed!” and the woman says “your ship will be waiting behind these asteroids” and the man replies “I will not be kept to the rear!”
I would like to know how much it costs to produce a full episode? The original series was $ 183.000 per episode. The Next Generation was eight times that. I think your productions of STAR TREK PHASE II are really well done! I will donate to support your work. Maybe Audition as well?
Actually, TOS’s budget was a bit more than that. The average TOS episode, adjusted for inflation, is over a million an episode.
I had some of the best of my youth watching Star Trek…….Boy would I love to see this, one often wonders about the times and experiences of the Enterprise and crew that we never got to see…..Impressive.
I have just only found these recently. I love these!!! They are part hysterical, as one comment says, and part nostalgic. I am not as much into TOS, (the reason being that I grew up with The Next Generation), but not to say that I don’t like TOS. It took me awhile to get used to these actors who don’t resemble Shatner and the rest, but then after thinking about it for a moment, Chris Pine and the rest of them in JJ Abrams movie didn’t really look like the original series cast and it did really well. And I have to say that this series, as far as I can see is on par with a television show, quality wise, (makeup, costumes. etc..) And I see some names from the various TV series as well: Denise Crosby, George Takei, Barbara Luna, etc.
Unfortunatlely, for me, I am the only Trekker in my family, so I have no one to talk this over with, but……
I plan on watching all of the episodes, and can’t wait.
